Burglar arrested after falling through ceiling


Jose Parada fell through the ceiling of a business in Pico Rivera, California and was captured by sheriff's deputies who were searching for the suspected burglar of three businesses and had .responded to an alarm at William's Boots.

County sheriff Sgt. Debbie Gallego says a responding deputy saw someone inside nearby De La Cruz Jewelry, and called in a K-9 unit for a search. Deputies sprayed pepper spray in the attic of the store shortly before Parada fell through the ceiling. A nearby antique store was also burglarized.

Parada was being held in lieu of $20,5000 bail. (Info from the Whittier Daily News)
